Rio Dell Council Addresses Recycling Concerns, Approves Abatement Costs

Among the key decisions, the council unanimously approved a cost recovery of \$8,977.22 for abatement work completed at 521st Avenue. City staff presented the cost, and the council voted 4-0 to approve the findings and assessment.

The meeting also featured public comment, with resident Suzanne Bernice Stater Campbell expressing concern about the absence of recycling receptacles at school crossings, particularly near Davis Street. Campbell directly requested the council consider installing more bins in these locations.
